Since 1971 Syria has been leading in one of the worlds most unstable governments. Since the election of Syria's President Bashar Al-Assad has been predicted to have killed over 5,000 syrian protestors and is estimated to be holding 14,000 political protestors as well. With such gruesome and massive attacks of the syrian people it has gone in to an all out civil war. Argentina believes in democracy, upholding a constitution is key and protecting their human rights are a major fact. From previous experience Argentina knows a little to well about how military Dictatorship can spiral out of control, from the "Dirty War" of 1976-1983 where dictatorship committed harsh hate crimes against Argentines. As Argentina has had the full experience with acts against humanitarian rights they do not see eye to eye with going about the problem. After the UN decided and signed the letter sent by Switzerland scowling syria on their actions against their people, Argentina how ever did not sign the letter. As the Argentina Representative does follow the countries outlook on the topic of Democracy. Syria must be proposed with a more peaceful way for Assads crimes against the Syrian people to be stopped.
The United Nations has decided that the Military Forces in Syria have created huge problems and have committed hate crimes against their people. Peaceful Protest have occurred in Syria since 2011 and in April Military opened fire on the protestors. Leading to the Syrian people to fight back and creating a civil war against the government. Syria's anti-government has tried to create many ways to have Assad step down from power like the newest plan to have the UN call for resignations of Assad's power but was later vetoed. Syria's anti-government leans hugely on other democratic countries and hopes that Assad's government is put to an end so Syrian people have the democracy they want.
Syria knows what they are doing wrong and what acts they are committing. What needs to be done is immediate action for these horrendous hate crimes to be ended. Assad and his government need to be taken and trial at the ICC. The court must act accordingly and remove Assad immediately from not only his power but the country. Having Assad leave the country gives the reassurance that he has no influence in the government and his power will not reign again. Along with no government influence having Assad leave the country stops the countless violations against syrian people and their human rights. It's the courts proposition to bring peace ad safety to Syria's people and reassurance to the world
