The Syrian Crisis started in March of 2011 & by April of 2011 the fighting started. The Syrian President wants to kill a. Currently the Syrian Government is killing thousands upon thousands of their own people, not just the ones apposing its leadership, but anyone that gets in their way, including men, women and children. Denmark's position states that they will help with the removal of the chemical weapons from Syria as well as provide body guards for certain U.N. officials. Denmark has established this position because it feels that there should be peace within the nations with the least amount of war/conflict possible.
The crisis between the peoples of Syria started because of the Civil War. The Europeans didn't realized there were different ethnic groups and religions located in this region, therefore they ended up combining groups that weren't compatible into one large group. This lead to heated quarrels within this new group which quickly escalated. Now this alone wouldn't typically be considered and international affair, however, the current Syrian president has begun killing thousands upon thousands of his own people: men, women, and children with no mercy shown. There was an attempt at a cease-fire agreement that fell through. Also, the U.S. talked about ways to end the turmoil, but nothing happened then either. The problem as a whole still exists, nothing has been done what-so-ever. The current president is still killing his own people day after day and night after night.
One option to end this is to throw thousands of our own military men and women into Syria until the crisis is under our control. This doesn't seem like a very prevalent option, or the best one for our country. Another option is to rescue the Syrian men, women, and children from the most targeted areas of their country and set up several international contacts as is feasible to host large groups of Syrians for five to eight years. We would send in forces to remove a certain amount of the peoples at random days and hours then transport the people as quickly as feasible to the international contacts to host. While this is going on other nations should be talking with the Syrian government on possible ways of re-forming Syria or breaking it up into several smaller countries. The point is to go back to the problem from decades ago when the Europeans formed Syria by grouping conflicting ethnic groups and religions. By implementing the removal program there would be an increased burden upon the receiving countries. All of a sudden there will be thousands of Syrians in a new location without jobs, food, money, clothing & shelter. They will be vying and competing with the citizens currently living in these countries, putting an offset to the whole community. The proposition of recreating the borders will throw a curve ball into the whole world, especially the Middle-Eastern region. If new countries are made they are then thrown into a whole new realm and have to start from the bottom after being in complete turmoil for years on end. If Syria is just broken apart, and more land given to different countries, they then have to figure out how to deal with this new piece of destroyed land and its people. If either of the proposals provide a viable solution to the issue, then the risk of the crisis spreading to other parts of the Middle East or the conflict that could arise between the allied nations will subside. If the tempers and causes of conflict are kept in check the possibility of World War III is left out off the equation.
