As a man of the military I cannot have much say in this argument. Socially our country is not one of the greatest and strongest, and with the annexation of bordering territories we are having more and more ethnic groups join our empire. This can cause for outbreaks of fighting amongst the people, which will cause for social unrest. It is important that we try to prevent this from happening, in order to keep the trust of the people with us.
I propose that we allow for the "freedom" of the people of the annexed territories to be stressed. This will allow for more trust amongst the people and us. If we can build more trust with them, then we can guarantee that there will be less fighting amongst the people and us. Which in turn will socially strengthen our empire.
We must not make this into a great disput taht can tear our senate and empire apart. We muststay united and come up with a solution like men. For if we, the senate, begin to break surely our empire will too. We must prove to our people as well as to other empirers that the Romans are the dominate race, and that we are the greatestand most powerful empire.
Our empire can not grow until the civil disputes are handled. Its a dog eat dog world, and if we allow our empire to dweal on the problems of the society we will surely be conqured. Every day other empires grow stronger, so it is of urgent desire that we deal with this matter swiftly.
Again, with my political standing I am a many of action and war, not of bills and laws to regulate. However, I do understand that we cannot fight to solve all our of differences with the people. I am looking forward to seeing the ideas of my fellow senate members to see how we can resolve the issues at hand.
